Fey Creatives: Brand Photo Session by Houston Brand Photographer Lightbulb League

When Faith initially reached out for new brand photography, I knew this would be a good one. Creative energy filled me up as the brand photo session planning for Faith's custom prop styling service unfolded. With a vision for textural, moody, and organic imagery, the stage is set for a day of artistic play.

Faith's preferences for the shoot are clear: she seeks the natural appeal of film photography, with gentle movement and a touch of mystery. We wanted to play into the nuances of film photography: the grain, the moodiness, and the imperfections. This sets the tone for the Houston brand session with us, guiding the team towards capturing the essence of her brand.

The session encompasses a variety of shots, from branded portraits and headshots to lifestyle process shots and styled flat lays. The workspace becomes a hub of creativity, with mood boards adorning the walls and props arranged meticulously. Faith's cousin even joined in on the shoot, adding a lifestyle component with music and relaxed scenes.

The imagery takes shape, capturing moments of styling in action and close-ups of hands delicately arranging props. The prop table Faith designed for her brand photo session was beautifully layered and kept you coming back for more. From bedding to table scape, every element is thoughtfully considered to evoke a romantic yet casual atmosphere. Food styling becomes a part of the narrative, with preparations of charcuterie meticulously arranged to tantalize the viewer's senses. Faith truly had such a supportive little team of family members who helped her all day long, from creating elements of the session, to hauling items up to her rented studio space, to helping with scene setting.

Together, we all collaborated to create visuals that not only showcase her prop styling service but also evoke a sense of wonder and inspiration. As the day draws to a close, Faith's vision has been brought to life through a series of captivating images, each telling a story of creativity and craftsmanship.
